Here is a list of items that should work for all your trips. If you need to print this just copy paste into an email or Microsoft Word and print.

Day Trip on a Train

We just recently took Amtrak over to Sacramento for an overnight stay to see the train museum in Old Sac. It was a great great trip. Details to come...but here is a quick day trip if you don't have time for an overnight stay. The kids had a great time riding a train. Honestly so did the adults :)

The station is in downtown San Jose and you can ride over to Oakland (Jack London Square) This is only about an hour or so train ride. Make sure you get up on the 2nd floor of the caboose and grab a booth with a table. We brought some toys with us and the kids just played and starred out the window.
There are great restaurants, movie theater and shopping in the area.
